The church of saint Anthony of Padua was built is beginning to follow a project of the of Saragossa Jesuit Antonio Forcada, author also of the design of the annexed building to the temple, the college of the Society of Jesus, religious congregation that it took setuped in Alagón from the second half of the XVII century. During the civil war it hispanizes the church suffered a set on fire that caused burden damages, above all to the inside furniture.
