The building had a primordial paper during the sites of Saragossa. when finding in first line, it got a job as bulwark and positioned shoe shops in your perimeter. in spite of the rough defense, the French forces got open a breach for which penetrated the forces. The fight continued in the inside of the convent and of the church, by defending each chapel and each dependence with an enormous cost of human lives. The despair with she who it is defended the convent is molded in the Defensa square of the pulpit of the church of the convent of saint Augustin (1809) of César Álvarez Dumont kept in the museum of Saragossa.Of the baroque building only keeps the facade of the church and a wall of the convent, that have been restored and form two patrons of the plaza of saint Augustin.
