The Pitiusas wall lizard( Podarcis |pityusensis| ) is a species of the Podarcis genus endemic of the natives of the Balearic Isles. Originating of Iviza and Formentera, has been introduced in Majorca. Of mean size and variable aspect, it is a robust species, of strong Devil and short middlings. There are some 30 subspecieses, someone of very dark coloration with the blue azure belly cobalt.Photo:Albert Masats
