The bur( Ferula |communis| ) is a perennial shrub, of 1-3 ms of height, very robust, with big abundantly ramified inflorescences.|erectos| holy thistles, cylindrical, of until 2 cm of thickness, furrowed. Tender sheets, 3 until 4 (6) it accustoms foliose. Linear, flat-topped folioles, of 1.5-5 cm in long robes. Lower sheets of 30-60 cm in long robes, with long and cylindrical |pecíolo|. Superior sheets with big and attractive limb. The more high sheathing sheets. The terminal umbels, scantily pedunculate, of 20 until 40 radii is the unique fertile thing, and are surrounded of lateral umbels, at length pedunculate sterile. Absent bracts. Liable to fall bractlets. Tiny chalice. Yellow petals, of 8 mm in long robes. Fruits of a few 15 cm in long robes, smoothed.
