Previously Abechuco. Place of the municipality and gang of Vitoria-Gasteiz (it Álava-plowed). [In the Codex of San Millán, Abbogokko]. It is located N. of the city, to the right of the river Zadorra in the hillside S. of the mount Araka. Of term partly flat and partly broken, it belongs geographically to the area of the llanada of Vitoria.

Place of the municipality of Iruraiz - Gauna and of the gang of Salvatierra / Agurain, judicial party of Vitoria-Gasteiz (it Álava-plowed). It is located in an isolated roomy plain of the municipal term of Iruraiz by lands of San Millán. He/she waters their term the stream Larrasa, flowing of Zadorra that descends of the mountains of Guereñu.
The small village of Acilu is located in the surroundings of Salvatierra. This municipality alavés is located to the right of the river Happiness. The jurisdictional limits of this town were, by the middle of the XIX century, the following ones: Langarica to the north; Luzcando and Alaiza, to the east; Gauna and Adana, to the west, and, to the south, Guereñu and Jáuregui. Acilu enjoyed a special localization when being located in a clear and healthy height, in opinion of Pascual Madoz.

Aixola of Aramaio, information

Aixola historically has been together to the family Arexola. It was one of the richest families in the town and they created the neighborhood. During the fights among the banderizos make act of presence Arexola.
The parochial temple is dedicated to the Galician martyr Santa Marina. In Arejola there is a hermitage under the invocation of San Pedro of Letazur, located in the one in route to Ibarra. It is demolished and semiabandonada, in spite of the fact that it is one of the oldest constructions in the Valley. It was place of burials.

Dedicated to Our Lady of Asunción.It structures románica of the XIII century.With rectangular plant and presbytery in two tramos:el first in a rectangular way and the semicircular second. With another ship embedded to the right side, also of the same time and later sacristy.
It highlights their baptismal pile (image 10): of glass of half sphere, flat with foot without ornamenting. Medieval decoration, to the temper. Similar pigmentation to the murals.
