Perlora, City of Vacations asturias town.Perlora is a parish of the town council of Carreño, in the Principality of Asturias. Also, it is a town of this same town council with a half altitude of about 20 meters on the sea level and with a population of 755 inhabitants (INE 2007).
They are reseñables the presence of presumably Roman vestiges: The tower of the Castle of Yavio and the existence of a tourist complex of great importance in the past, built during the régime franquista, the Residential City Perlora, with sport facilities, hotel, dining rooms, chalets, minigolf field, bowling alley, pool and even a church for the religious occupations. At the present time it is of property of the Principality of Asturias and great part of the complex remains abandoned.

In this website a journey is made by the most outstanding places in the town, its history, people and traditions. Not they lack the pictures that illustrate their yesterday and their today.
This is a personal (it is not of the City council) page, fruit of the summary of data throughout the years. It is made with the whole affection by a person that is proud of their roots and it is dedicated to all those of Soto, especially to those that take years far from the tierrina, surely missing it.
