Sant Lluís town of islands canarias..Hyacinthe Gaétan of Lannion was lieutenant general of the Real Armies and governor of the island, where he/she died October 2 from 1762 to the 43 years, being buried in Santa María's church, in Maó.

Alaior was ordered to be founded for the king Jaime II of Majorca in 1304 for the purchase of the property Ihalor, of where it derives the current toponym.
